![]() ![]() what situation would that be useful in? My knee-jerk reaction was that it'd be great for those times when I get stuck infinitely falling between some un-mineable rocks, but I'm fairly sure that you can't eat while falling, so it wouldn't do you any good in that situation. If all that is above you then you shouldn't need mindwipe yet, and even if you maxed your craft skill the custom recipes might not be that good. Mushroom and flowers are best from the swamp areas use a mammoth or bronto. Stimberries/sparkpowder/narcotics are all easy to gather with a trike and ankylo. Make several campfires to cook it before it spoils. You should be able to take down a couple of paracer in the fringes of the swamp for prime. (On an unrelated note, why the heck does my avatar keep getting reset?!) Maybe I can get someone from one of the high-level tribes in the server to make some for me if I ask real nicely. Being the only regularly-active member of a 3-man tribe has it's hardships, I'm afraid. I didn't even know the mindwipe tonic was a thing! It sounds super useful, but looked up the recipe on the ARK wiki, and I don't think there's any way in hell that I'm gonna be able to pull together all the resources needed to even make one of those, let alone have a second one available so I can reset my stats after making my custom recipes. Do you usually just go with cooked meat and mejoberries? Or is there another combination that's more efficient? I only have 120% crafting speed at the moment, so I probably won't be able to make one that's as good as people who have been doing it for a while and putting points into that stat, but I would certainly appreciate you guys sharing any recipes you have created that seem to work well for you. So, does anyone have recommendations on what I should use for a custom recipe? I have to imagine someone out there has done the math to figure out what's the most efficient use of food resources to combine to make a longer-lasting food and health source. I'd definitely like to have a way to produce a food source that I can take with me when I go out exploring and not have to worry about it spoiling and leaving me stranded and hungry out in the wilderness with nothing but a backpack full of rotten meat.
